Enough onesies to clothe a baby army

On Saturday, a number of very special women in my life (Michelle, Angela, Jeannine and my mom) banded together to throw Tim and I a co-ed baby shower at Michelle’s parents house in Carlsbad. There was plenty of delicious food of a Mediterranean theme, good company, a “Onesie Design Center”(where attendees could paint personalized garb for Marshall) and of course the requisite baby shower smut. I had tasked Tim with making the shower “man-friendly”, so he brought up his ever-popular “rank the hot chicks in this magazine game”. We attempted to create a “man-friendly zone” (where the beer cooler was kept), such that they wouldn’t have to listen to too much talk of babies.
I took a few pictures, but fell victim to my usual pattern of putting my camera down somewhere and forgetting about it after the first 5 minutes. This is especially disappointing since a number of the people who travelled in from the Los Angeles area I don’t see all that often. Angela did snap a number of pictures of me opening up all the wonderful gifts. I big thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who has been sending us well wishes during the pregnancy.
